Phulchoki is the biggest mountain in the Kathmandu Valley and is located 20 km southeast of Kathmandu. It can be simply reached by taxi within one hour. Prior to reaching Phulchoki are the Godavari Gardens. The Phulchoki and Godavari forests are popular for varied flower and bird species. Here are partly sealed road carries on south to Phulchoki Mai Temple and on to Phulchoki Mountain; the significant road veers left (northeast) 1km past an ashram to the gardens and Godavari Kunda. The road from Kathmandu goes by many huge plant nurseries, highlighting the area’s botanical significance and commercial possibility. One of the hotels has a view tower through great landscapes on clear mornings of the mountain ranges, through one of the broadest panoramas of any viewpoint.

A Tibetan monastery and shrine is around 30 30-minute’ walk by amazing peak scenery. The visitors can get directions from one of the restaurants or lodgings. The events accessible here are hiking, cycling, rock climbing, a fishing tour to Kulekhani, a pony ride, etc. There are few lodgings through rooms for rent, and one location renting out safari-style semi-durable tents.
