Detail Itinerary

ITINERARY: – 

 

Day 1: Arrival day at Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax and explore the vibrant city. (B) Plan

Day 2/3: Visa Processing

Sightseeing in Kathmandu (Visa processing days)

Day 4: Kathmandu to Shyabrubeshi

(Visa pick up) Ride Kathmandu to Shyabrubesi (Elevetion 1,140 m) – 125 Km / 7-8 hours.

Day 05:- Syabrubesi to Kerong

Early in the morning scenic Ride to Kerung Border (Nepal-Tibet Border) through the beautiful Nepalese countryside and after necessary border formalities at Nepalese immigration Cross Chinese immigration, check-in to hotel or Continue drive to Kerung. Stay overnight at Kerong Grand Hotel.

 

Day 06: Kerung – Tingri (4300m) / Lhatse (4,350m): 225 Km/244 Km

Day drive uphill to the highest plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world. from where, weather permitting, breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt Cho Oyu (8201 M) & Mt Xishapagma (8012M) but dwarfed by the Vastness of the Tibetan plateau. From TINGRI, one can enjoy the magnificence of Mt. Everest (8,848 M). Stay overnight at Roof top of the world Hotel

 

Day 07: Tingri/Lhaste – Shigatse (3,900 M): 244 Km

Continue scenic drive crossing Over Gyatchu La (5,220M), the highest pass en route to Lhasa via Lhatse from where a road to Mt Kailash bifurcates to the west. Stay overnight at Manasarover hotel.

 

Day 08: Shigatse – Gyantse (3,950m): 90 Km

Morning sightseeing to the Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpu Monastery. Drive to Gyantse and visit to the Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery. Stay overnight the Gyantse Hotel. 

 

Day 09: Gyantse – Lhasa (3,650m): 261 Km

Full day picturesque drive crossing over Karola (5,010m), Kambala (4,749m), Colorful Yamdrok-Tso Lake and the Tibetan lifeline river Brahma Putra (Yarlung Tsangpo) – Stay overnight at Kyichu Hotel.

 

DAY 10-11: SIGHTSEEING IN LHASA

Two full days sightseeing tour to Lhasa including Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, and And Potala Palace Drepung & Sera Monasteries. Stay overnight at Kyichu Hotel.  

  

Day 12: Lhasa – Shigatse (3900m)

After Breakfast, Motor Bike ride to Shigatse via northern route O/N at Manasarover Hotel.

 

Day 13:- Shigatse to Xegar (4300m)

Ride Motor Bike to Xegar O/N at Everest Hotel

 

Day 14:- Xegar to Ronbuk  (4900m)

Bike ride to Ronbuk to Everest Base Camp and visit Rongbuk Monastery O/N at Rongbuk Guest House (Dormitory)

 

Day 15:- Rongbuk- Kerung (2770m)

Ride Motor Bike to Kerong O/N at Kerong Grand Hotel

 

Day 16:- Kerong to Kathmandu.

After Necessary Border formalities, Ride back to Kathmandu O/N at Hotel

 

Day 17:- Free day at Kathmandu

Free and rest day, late evening we will provide you farewell

As per the new rules and regulations from the Chinese embassy in Nepal, to obtain a Tibet group visa, it is required that there must be a minimum of 05 people in the group. Additionally, the visa application process in Kathmandu requires the submission of the original passport and may take 03 official working days to complete.
